Our Training Focus

APEC provides training in basic and advanced maternal-child healthcare concepts. Classes are taught by experienced nurses, nurse educators, nurse practitioners, and healthcare providers.

APEC works in conjunction with the Arizona Perinatal Trust to meet perinatal education needs by providing education to prepare staff to work in labor & delivery, mother/baby and special care nursery units. APEC provides training in basic and advanced maternal-child healthcare concepts. Classes are taught by experienced nurses, nurse educators, nurse practitioners, and healthcare providers.

APEC only accepts credit cards via PayPal. All classes must be registered and paid for via this website before the class starts. We do not accept payments for classes at the door. If an alternate method of payment is needed by your facility, please contact Shelly Lanagan at slanagan@summithealthcare.net. No Walk-Ins to any classes will not be tolerated. Registration and payment is required for all classes in order for handouts to be sent, class rosters to be made. Walk-Ins will be asked to leave classes if they have not registered on the APEC website.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

1)  Students will not be refunded their class fees unless the class is cancelled for low registrations.

2)  Nurse registrants can have a full refund if classes cancelled 1 week or greater before scheduled class(es).

3)  Nurse registrants will not be refunded if cancellation is less than one week before class. They will be offered to register for another class in another series if another one in that calendar year is available.
